Here are a few reasons I love vacations at all-inclusive resorts.
1. Tropical Paradise
All-inclusive resorts are mainly located on beaches in warm destinations such as Mexico and the Caribbean. Spend your days under the palm trees with your toes in the sand. If you are a beach person, you will love having the amazing beaches of Mexico, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic right outside your room day in and day out.
My favorite thing to do is start my day with a cup of coffee out on my balcony staring off into the Caribbean blues.
2. Planning is Minimal
Traveling is amazing but it can be a lot of work researching, booking all the different components, etc. With dining, entertainment, and activities for the whole family all in one place, an all-inclusive resort is an easy vacation to plan. From painting classes to tequila tasting to yoga on the beach to bowling to trivia games you can choose to do it all or nothing at all- it is all up to you.
Many all-inclusive resorts include non-motorized water sports such as kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and snorkeling gear for guests to take to the water. Our family even tried going out on the Hobie Cat during our stay at Barcelo Bavaro Palace in Punta Cana!
When all the entertainment and activities are planned and available by the resort, you can sit back and focus on having fun together.
3. Cost
There are all-inclusive resorts to meet every budget. Many resorts offer different room categories that can increase or decrease the cost of your stay as well. When everything is included, you know exactly what your vacation is going to cost before leave home. No surprise bill when you check out!
The only additional costs you may incur are spa treatments, tips and gratuities, specialty dining experiences, and/or tours off site (ex: deep sea fishing, sunset catamaran cruise, Mayan ruin tour, etc).
Your only worry will be what poolside cocktail to order next.
