Odyssey Of The Seas- What To Love

We sailed on a 6-night Western Caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas in March 2022.  This is a new Quantum Class ship that began sailing in 2021.  Odyssey of the Seas is a large ship with 16 decks full of fun, music, adventure, and food.  Here is what we loved about our cruise.

1. Family Time: This ship is extremely family friendly and offers a ton of activities and entertainment options for families to do together.  I LOVED spending a week of quality time with my husband and my two boys.  We played games, relaxed, laughed, tried to foods, sang, danced, and explored new destinations together.  So many memories that we will cherish for a long time.

2.  The Incredible Staff: The passionate, helpful, upbeat staff on this ship work hard to make guests feel special on their cruise vacation.  They were always welcoming and ready to provide us with excellent service.

3.  Live Music: The Odyssey of the Seas is full of live music for guests to enjoy.  From the Caribbean music played on the pool deck to a Latin band that encourages guests to get up and dance to a jazz quartet, you will find a vibe for everyone in your family.  We loved the pub guitarist in Crown & Compass who took requests.  Our nightly routine ended with pizza from Sorrentos next door (so good!), drinks and lively guitar music.  The pianist in Schooners bar was excellent with an extensive play list that guests could request from.

4.  Activities:  I could not possibly write about all of the various activities offered on Odyssey of the Seas.  There are just so many!  But here are a few that we really enjoyed.

  • Mystery Puzzle Game- Loved this!  We had to work together for an hour to solve a Clue like mystery with a variety of puzzle challenges.

  • Karaoke-  There were some amazingly talented people on our ship.

  • Bumper Cars- You can’t not laugh while driving bumper cars.

  • Two70 Expedition- This is a scavenger hunt type game played through the Royal Caribbean app in the Two70 venue on the back of the ship. Very fun!

  • SkyPad- Inside a large ball, the SkyPad is a virtual reality bungee trampoline attraction for both kids and adults. My boys did this over and over again.

  • North Star- elevate 300 feet above sea level in a capsule which offers 360 degree views.  Amazing!

I could go on and on about how much we loved out experience on Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas.

I would love to help you and your family plan an amazing cruise vacation together.
